It's the Weekend!

Time flies when I'm having classes, and time flies over the weekend.
Where has time gone?

For those who are wondering, Watson's my church mate, pastoral care group mate, and a senior during my secondary school days. He found 4 days between his exams and his coming attachment at poly, so he's here to visit! I am so glad. =)

I felt bad that he had to travel alone for the first two days, but today, mama and I finally found time to join him in his visit to the Summer Palace and Yuan Ming Yuan.

Walking along in the Summer Palace, we noticed chinese calligraphic characters on the ground...

Looking around, we saw a number of elderly men, each armed with a gigantic "brush".

Each brush was made out of a sponge at the tip, a long broom-like stick, and a bottle filled with water at the other end. These men wrote on the dark ground with water! Incredible.

40 Days of Purpose

Six of us met for our first 40dop small group session in the afternoon.

I am filled with thanksgiving to God for
...Watson's room as our first venue;
...Watson's laptop for watching the video;
...an EXACT number of materials and tees;
...each participant and their open sharing;
...one life that has been rededicated;
...lives that have been encouraged;
...using me, in my weakness.

Life is a Test and a Trust.

大红灯笼高高挂 aka Raise the Red Lantern

The 2-hour ballet performance tonight was an amazing display of grace and elegance. Ballet reminded me of Corinne. =)

I have always admired and envied dancers. I can't dance to save my life. ;)

gRacE =)
