I like these photos, particularly the last one.

Party World 金柜

Junxiong said this karaoke place was really grand, and the sound system simply fantastic. So when Bruce invited me for a singing session last night with the Tsinghua peeps (all from NUS), I thought why not?

I don’t know if Party World occupies the entire building, but there was a reception lobby, and the place was a little like a hotel. While we waited at the lobby till the clock struck twelve, we witnessed an unsightly puking drunkard. Yikes.

Taking the elevator up to the fifth level, we were greeted by many “欢迎光临!!” Wow.

I guess I had my expectations really high after all the welcoming and seeing the elaborate buffet area. =[ The room wasn’t as impressive.

Ta-daaaa! The guys!!! On the right is Franky, from NUS’s chemical engineering.

The buffet was good stuff though…salad, sushi, Taiwan 卤肉饭, dessert, and many different kinds of hot and cold beverages.

Ta-daaaa! The girls!!! Ha…Meet Zhenqi, NUS design student, now in Zhejiang University with Franky. She has a really sweet voice!

The guys’ version of 纸飞机 was hilarious! Oh, for the record, Junxiong’s 曹操 was wow whee!

Taken at 04 30…Kai Qin and I made a move first, while the rest belt it out till 6am. While I was in bed, they headed for The Great Wall at 慕田浴 and went snow skiing in the afternoon! As I’m typing this, they are clubbing away! 青春啊青春...

The sun had risen in Beijing before 5am…

At noon, Jian Kang kindly gave Kai Qin and I wake-up smses. Out through PKU’s 西门, it was my 2nd visit to 老家肉饼. Yummy 肉饼! Roti-prata-like on the outside, tender tasty meat on the inside.

And finally, a disappointing debating competition – Do you approve or disapprove advertisements featuring attractive female models?

Followed by ping-pong! My first game in the entire week! Sigh…

gRacE =)
