Leow's Arrival!

When the self-defence practice room is enveloped by the stench of stinky socks and smelly feet, and the teacher says, “吸气… 呼气…. 深呼吸… 放轻松!”
No joke.

Clap clap clap!!! My second official visitor from Singapore arrived last Sunday!















My lower Primary and lower Secondary classmate, Daniel Leow is now my church mate and one of my goodiest friends! He had a taste of Beijing’s traffic jam on his way to PKU last evening, and also experienced Beijing’s strong winds and sandstorm (Read: Sand covers one-eighth of China)! Wheee!

Of course, I brought him sightseeing around PKU - to Wei Ming Lake, the lecture buildings, 三角地 - where the shops are and students congregate, and finally to 艺园 for our dinner. Thanks Leow for the treat! ;)

With Leow’s arrival came these…















Thanks May…such a thoughtful gift once again! And yes, thanks to Leow again for bringing over the much-needed Lemsip and mosquito repellents that are unavailable here.

But really, it wasn’t the physical things that mattered. We went to Carrefour for my grocery shopping (Leow being gentlemanly enough to carry everything for me…hee), and caught up with each other over at Starbucks. 好享受！ ;)
